Grace attended the Baltimore School for the Arts (BSA) for high school under the training of Norma Pera, Debra Deckelbaum, and Anton Wilson. While at BSA, she spent half of her day in academic classes and the other half of her day training and rehearsing works created by choreographers such as George Balanchine, Barry Hughson, and Christopher d’Amboise.
After graduating, Grace attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) and obtained a BFA in Dance Performance and a BBA in Business Management. While at SMU, she received training from and performed works created by notable choreographers including Silas Farley, Dwight Rhoden, Alex Sanchez, Carter Alexander, and Molissa Fenley. Additionally, Grace created works of her own, which premiered at SMU’s Choreography Showcase and Senior Dance Concert.
Shortly after moving to Colorado, Grace performed “The Nutcracker” with Boulder Ballet in Longmont and Estes Park as well as and “Silken Threads,” “Ukraine,” and “Aurora,” with Kim Robards Dance. She is currently dancing with David Taylor of Zikr Dance Ensemble to workshop new pieces for their upcoming season. Additionally, Grace is co-choreographing a contemporary ballet pas de duex with a Boulder Ballet dancer to be submitted to VisKosity Dance Collective’s FreeForm Dance Festival.
Over the years, Grace has attended summer intensives with American Ballet Theater (NYC), Boca Ballet Theater, Houston Ballet, Boston Ballet, Indiana University, and Boston Conservatory.
Grace’s favorite ballet to perform is “Serenade” by George Balanchine, which she has had the opportunity to perform on 3 separate occasions throughout her dance career!
